Typically, Japanese Proficiency Level (JLPT) N2 is desired to work in Japan. However it depends mostly on the type of the job. N4/N3 level candidates with fluency in listening and speaking skills in Japanese can also be considered for suitable positions.
Who will process the visa?

The visa will be processed by the Employer with the support of SCL.
Can a fresher be eligible for the recruitment?

This will depend on the requirement of the recruiting company. But SCL will certainly make sure that every eligible candidate is placed.
What is the selection process?

The candidate has to upload the updated CV on the website under Candidate Registration. SCL Representative will review the CV and will conduct a primary telephonic interview after which the CV will be forwarded to the respective company for further scrutiny.
Once the company approves of the candidate, a skype interview will be held as per the mutual convenience.
What is the typical salary offered to a fresh engineering graduate with Japanese Proficiency Level (JLPT), N4?

Typical salary varies based on Company, Job Position, Skills etc. but typical salary could be approximately between 20,00,000 and 60,00,000 Japanese Yen per year.
Will housing be provided?

It depends on the company. In many cases, companies have provided subsidised housing.
What will be the joining period?

Once the candidate is selected, usually it takes 2 months for the work visa processing. So there will be approximately 2-3 months time for the joining.
Will there be any orientation prior to the departure?

There will be an Orientation and Training before joining by SCL. That is unique model of SCL called INIT under which cultural orientation is a part of the recruiting process.
Will SCL charge the candidate for registering or placing?

It is free for the candidates. There will not be any fees for the candidates.
